Fort Lauderdale Law Firm of Purdy, Jolly, Giuffreda, Barranco & Jisa, P.A. has been defending
law enforcement officers and agencies around the state of Florida since 1976 in civil litigation
matters, including federal civil rights litigation related to false arrest and excessive force claims,
as well as auto accident cases in state court. The firm also has a robust appellate practice in
both federal and state court, providing opportunities to prepare briefs on appeal and conduct
oral argument. The firm is seeking a litigation associate attorney with trial experience who is
interested in representing law enforcement officers and agencies. Minimum 5 years of litigation
experience required, former Assistant State Attorney or Assistant Public Defender experience is
preferred. A six figure salary is negotiable, depending on experience. Potential for hybrid
remote/in-office work schedule. Benefits include participatory retirement program with an
