Licensed Therapist (Full-Time, In-Person)

About Healing Hearts: Medical Family Therapy Associates, PLLC
Healing Hearts is a private group therapy practice providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and their families in both hospital and outpatient community settings. Our mission is to support emotional healing and strengthen family systems through integrated and trauma-informed therapy. We foster a collaborative and supportive team environment where clinicians are valued, heard, and empowered.
We are currently hiring a full-time Licensed Therapist (Master’s or PhD-level) with expertise in trauma, grief, and loss. Prior experience in medical settings is strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do
Complete clinical intakes and comprehensive assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals
Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based individual and family therapy
Educate and support families through grief and loss processes
Collaborate closely with medical professionals and other therapists
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in clinical team meetings and interdisciplinary treatment planning
Respond to crises with appropriate therapeutic interventions
Stay current with licensure requirements and engage in professional development
Position Details
Job Type: Full-time, salaried
Location: In-person, Asheville, NC (Relocation required)
Pay Range: $58,800 base salary with bonus structure
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift

Requirements
Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling
Active NC licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC, LP, etc.)
Minimum 1 year of experience working with trauma, grief, and loss (required)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management and documentation skills
Experience in a medical or hospital setting (preferred)
