OverviewPosition Summary
The Lead Teaching Professional assists the Director of Instruction in the strategic planning, development, and execution of a comprehensive golf instructional program delivering an exceptional experience for members and staff.
This leadership role oversees all Men's, Ladies, Juniors, and Golf School programming. While providing high-level instruction through private lessons, clinics, schools, and seminars.
Experience Required
Qualifications
• PGA Member in Good Standing
• Minimum five (5) years of professional teaching experience
• Demonstrated success in leading and growing instructional programs
• Experience with Swing Catalyst, Dual Motion Force Plates, SAM Putting Studio, Zen Green Stage, PuttView, and TrackMan preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Program Development
• Assist in developing and refining the overall Golf Academy instructional strategy
• Lead and execute Men's, Ladies, Junior Golf, and Golf School programming
• Establish measurable goals for program growth, participation, and retention
• Ensure alignment and consistency in teaching standards across all programs
• Assist with overall golf operations in collaboration with the Director of Golf as needed
Instruction & Player Development
• Deliver elite-level instruction through lessons, clinics, schools, and long-term player development programs
• Develop a consistent teaching philosophy supporting measurable player improvement
• Design structured curriculum pathways for Junior, Ladies, Men's, and competitive players
• Integrate advanced technology: Swing Catalyst, Dual Motion Force Plates, TrackMan, SAM Putting Studio, Zen Green Stage, and PuttView systems
• Utilize data-driven feedback to create individualized development plans
Member Engagement & Experience
• Build strong relationships across all member demographics
• Play golf regularly with members to enhance engagement
• Deliver an inclusive, development-focused instructional environment
• Promote Academy programming to drive participation and revenue growth
Operational Excellence
• Oversee upkeep of driving range, lesson tee, and performance center
• Participate in regular meetings with Director of Instruction
• Track and report program performance metrics
• Maintain scheduling, communication, and administrative standards
