Overview

The Junior Golf Coach supports the Player Development Professional in delivering high-quality junior golf programming. This role focuses on assisting with instruction, on-course activities, practice stations, games, and overall program execution while helping create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for junior golfers of all ages and skill levels.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about kids and looking to explore teaching and coaching in a private club setting.

Experience Required

- Experience working with children or Juniors strongly preferred

- Strong communication skills and positive attitude

- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct

- Ability to follow instruction and work collaboratively within a coaching team

- Interest in pursuing PGA education is a plus, but not required

Essential Responsibilities

Program Support and Instruction

- Assist with junior golf programs including clinics, camps, leagues, lessons, and playdays

- Help deliver age-appropriate instruction focused on fundamentals, athletic movement, etiquette, and enjoyment of the game

-Support practice stations, games and skills challenges during group sessions

On Course & Event Assistance

- Assist with on-course supervision during play day's and junior events

- Help manage pace of play, safety and group flow

- Support setup and breakdown of practice areas, on-course activities, and events

Player Experience and Safety

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Serve as role model for sportsmanship, etiquette, and club values

- Monitor junior safety at all times and communicate concernts promptly to the lead professional

Operations

- Assist with equipment setup, training aids, and range organization

- Help maintain a clean, organized instructional environment
