Job Summary

This position involves performing routine cleaning and custodial duties to maintain buildings and surrounding areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition. The role supports daily operations through consistent upkeep of facilities and requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, dust, and spot-clean floors, carpets, rugs, and draperies
Clean and disinfect restrooms, shower rooms, and plumbing fixtures
Wash and clean doors, windows, walls, and upholstery
Operate motorized and power cleaning tools and equipment
Perform general cleaning of buildings and grounds as assigned

Ability to work independently within established guidelines on an assigned shift
Willingness to learn and safely operate cleaning equipment and machinery
Ability to complete assigned duties efficiently and safely
Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and the public
Requirements

Completion of the eighth grade or equivalent
No prior work experience required
Physical ability to perform essential job duties, including lifting and maneuvering equipment up to 50 pounds and working on slippery surfaces
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Flexibility to work swing shifts and overtime as needed
Some positions may require a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
