Description

We are looking for a part-time reviewer/assistant to help with class administration, student support, and behind-the-scenes coordination during the CIH Exam Weekend Prep program. This role is ideal for a young professional interested in safety, industrial hygiene, occupational health, or online education.

Requirements

You will work directly with the instructor to ensure classes run smoothly and students receive a high-quality learning experience.

You must be available Fridays – 8:00 PM ET (1 hour) and & Saturdays – 10:00 AM ET (1 hour) for the CIH Exam Weekend Prep Class Online (https://www.danielfarcas.com/CIH/)

Key Responsibilities

Assist with online class setup (Teams, links, breakout rooms, screen sharing, attendance)
Provide student support during class (admitting students, answering basic questions, sharing files)
Manage course materials, including slides, links, and study files
Help with organizing emails, scheduling, and course communications
Support the instructor during live sessions (tech help, chat monitoring, timing)
Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with students

Qualifications

Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable with technology (Teams, Google Drive, email, file management)
Reliable and able to commit to weekend availability
Professional demeanor and willingness to learn
Basic familiarity with industrial hygiene, EHS, or online teaching is a plus (not required)

Recent CIH certification prefered

Schedule

Part-time, weekends only
Approximately 4–6 hours per weekend session
Additional flexible hours during the week for organization and communication tasks
