Position: HOURLY PROFESSIONAL - LIBRARY

15-25 HOURS A WEEK

The Hourly Professional provides circulation services and assists with library equipment to ensure high quality and timely service to all library patrons.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize the automated integrated library system
• Answer and direct calls at the circulation desk
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the library
• Support the training and oversight of library student workers
• Maintain usage statistics of library patrons
• Shelve library materials and perform routine shelf maintenance
• Assist students with computers, copiers, and printers

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the Alma or other Library circulation systems
• Fluency in Spanish or Creole

Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 an hour
