Spring Creek Golf Club is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Golf Associate to join our Golf Operations team. This position is ideal for an individual looking to begin or grow a career in the golf industry within a premier private club environment.

The Golf Associate plays a key role in delivering exceptional member and guest experiences by supporting daily golf operations, maintaining professional standards, and assisting the Golf Professional staff in all areas of the operation.

This is a seasonal full-time position with opportunity for continued growth within the organization.

Experience Required

Qualifications

• Passion for the game of golf and desire to work in the golf industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Prior golf operations or customer service experience preferred but not required

Preferred Attributes

• Interest in pursuing a career in golf management or the PGA
• Basic knowledge of golf rules and etiquette
• Experience with golf technology (EZ Suites, Golf Genius, etc.) is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Essential Responsibilities

Member & Guest Service

• Provide exceptional, personalized service to members and guests
• Greet players and assist with check-in procedures
• Support outside operations including staging, cart preparation, and practice facility setup
• Assist with tournaments and member events

Golf Shop Operations

• Process merchandise and tee time transactions accurately through POS system
• Maintain clean, organized and professional retail displays
• Assist with merchandising, inventory control, and receiving
• Promote lessons, programs, and club events

Tournament & Event Support

• Assist with event setup and breakdown
• Support scoring, cart signage, and on-course logistics
• Help ensure smooth pace of play and member satisfaction

Lessons and Programming

• Assist with clinics, junior camps, and golf instruction
• Support Assistant Golf professionals in set up and delivery of programs
• Help ensure experience with positive attitude and approach

Facility Presentation

• Maintain clean, organized, and professional golf shop and staging areas
• Uphold club standards in appearance and conduct at all times
