Come and have the summer of your life in the mountains of New York and only 2 hours from New York City! Camp Lokanda is currently looking for energetic, motivated and positive individuals to join our staff this summer!
We are actively looking for Go-Kart Counselors to work at our go-kart track with our electric go-karts! During our activity periods, our go-kart staff will be responsible for the safety of our campers at their activity. They will also ensure that our go-karts are in safe working order and campers understand the rules of the track while having fun.
Many of our staff, from a variety of majors, have been able to gain internship credit through their school. We provide a great salary, as well as housing, laundry and meals for the summer.

About Camp Lokanda:
Camp Lokanda is a premier co-ed sleep-away camp located in the amazing Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York (approximately 2 hours from New York City). We have been around since 1937 and have approximately 400 campers ranging from ages 7 to 16. To look after so many campers, we invite 250 staff to join us from all over the world.
Lokanda prides itself on being a safe, fun environment for everyone to grow and develop. As you take good care of our campers, we in turn take good care of you. We provide a good salary as well as housing, laundry and food for the summer.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have completed one year of college by the summer.
- Experience with Go-Kart use, repair and maintenance
- Experience as Go-Kart attendant preferred
- Prior experience working with children preferred
