West Delray Veterinary and our sister practice, Mindful Veterinary Care, are independently owned, AAHA-accredited, full-service small animal practices offering both integrative and conventional medicine. Located in beautiful Palm Beach County, our hospitals are thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming, mindful, and nurturing environment for our team, our clients, and their pets.

What to Expect as an Extern
Externs at West Delray Veterinary will have the opportunity to shadow and work alongside our skilled team of doctors and support staff. You’ll gain exposure to:
Comprehensive case workups and client communication
Integrative approaches including acupuncture, herbal medicine, and rehabilitation
Preventive, diagnostic, and surgical care in a general practice setting
A culture that prioritizes quality over quantity, with longer appointment times that allow deeper learning opportunities
Our high staff-to-doctor ratio ensures you’ll be supported in an efficient, low-stress environment.
