Our team of experienced research analysts are intimately familiar with the sectors they cover. Investment decisions are made by combining systematic evaluation tools with fundamental, bottom-up securities analysis to identify attractive investments, and our analysts working closely with portfolio managers in the portfolio construction process.
Role Summary
We are seeking an equity analyst to cover one or more of the Energy, Basic Materials, Utilities, and Alternative Energy sectors across both our funds. The position is located either in Baltimore, MD or Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct primary research of all stocks in the major industry groups within the sectors
- Generate new investment ideas utilizing internal screening models and tools as well as fundamental analysis
- Make recommendations in team-driven portfolio management discussions
- Closely monitor existing holdings
- Understand and incorporate the risk dynamics of the sector and individual stocks into the decision-making process
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with an MBA and/or CFA preferred
- A minimum of seven years of investment experience
- Specific experience in Energy, Basic Materials, Utilities or Alternative Energy a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Compensation:
- Salary range of $180,000 to $220,000, depending on experience
- Variable annual bonus, adjusted for fund and employee performance
