Summary
The Director will report to the MD, Basel Reporting and will manage the quarterly production cycle for the regulatory reports.
Key responsibilities for the role:
- Conduct first level review of regulatory reporting schedule including and not limited to Call Report, FRY-9C, Y-9LP sure to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Maintain and organize documentation in accordance with regulatory reporting policies and procedures.
- Analyze and present RWA and Capital Ratio variances and trends to the Managing Director of Capital Reporting and escalating any material exceptions.
- Specify data requirements to providers for new products, as well as for new or modified instructions.
- Deliver walkthroughs of reporting processes to Quality Assurance and Internal Audit Teams.
- Work on ad-hoc impact studies by the Regulators.
Key skills/experience qualifications for the role:
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7+ years of experience in regulatory reporting for banks in the US. Specifically, Call Report, FRY-9C, Y-9LP.
- Experience working with AXIOM (ASL), JIRA, and Workiva, Close Manager.
- Excellent interpersonal, team player, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with data providers and technology partners to explain reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with other reports such as FFIEC 102, FRY-15 or CCAR
- Experience with Power Bi and Visio
- CPA, CFA, or other similar designation
- Experience in change management and exception escalation
- This role is based in Stamford, CT
The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 USD to $160,000 USD plus incentive plan. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
