Description
With over 35 years in business, with Delta-T Group has built a reputation for referring highly qualified professionals for rewarding short and long-term independent contract opportunities.Our Client is seeking a reliable and attentive DSP/Residential Aide to provide support and instruction to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a group home.
Compensation: $17-$19 per hour
*Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
*Ensure all activities are designed to foster growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment.
*Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of normalization, care and concern.
*Assist Consumers with daily nutrition and their medications (as needed)
*Transport Consumers to appointments (as needed)
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
*Valid Driver's License (not required but helpful)
*Ability to complete and pass mandated clearances.
*Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
*Must be comfortable toileting.
Credentials Needed:
*CPR
*First Aid
*TB (Tuberculosis)
*SCIP(Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention) not required but helpful.
*AMAP(Approved Medication Administration Personnel) not required but helpful.
