Introduction
IBM Technology Lifecycle Services (TLS) helps clients optimize the value of their IT investments through end-to-end lifecycle support, from deployment and maintenance to asset recovery and transformation. We deliver data-driven insights and operational excellence to support mission-critical infrastructure across industries.
In this role, you will be joining our Business and Performance Management team. Where you will part of project teams that lead analytical initiatives that drive operational efficiency, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Scientist to join our analytics team. In this role, you will assist in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to support business decisions. You'll work with senior data scientists and analysts to develop predictive models, generate insights, and help optimize company performance. A strong foundation in statistics, Python/R, and SQL is expected, along with a curiosity to learn and grow in a data-driven environment.
You will be part of a team who is responsible for:
- Data Integration: Design, build, and maintain data integration pipelines to combine data from disparate sources, ensuring data quality, completeness, and accessibility.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data systems performance, scalability, and availability to ensure timely and accurate data access and processing.
Required education
High School Diploma/GED

Bachelor's Degree

- Collaborating / working as a team
- Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Model Context Protocol)

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
