You'll manage bookings, maximize memberships, and integrate all aspects of the journey, delivering a luxurious touch to travel. Be part of enhancing engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty to Chase Travel.As a Travel Advisor in the Cruise and Tour Department, you will assist our customers with cruise and tour packages, handle travel components related to their reservations, fulfill promotions, and conduct outreach to ensure a seamless travel experience. You will showcase comprehensive travel consultation skills, including knowledge of destinations and travel products, along with problem-solving abilities, empathy, and active listening. Your main responsibilities will include managing daily requests, coordinating pre-check requirements for ships or tours, booking travel add-ons, and accommodating special requests from our customers. You will deliver exceptional service and contribute to establishing the Chase Travel brand as a leader in the travel industry.
Job responsibilities
• Be a trusted advisor, managing cruise and tour bookings, fulfilling promotions, and coordinating every detail for a seamless travel experience.
• Build lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
• Deliver accurate, valid, and comprehensive information using appropriate methods and tools.
• Showcase your expertise in destinations, travel products, and problem-solving, ensuring every journey is memorable.
• Handle daily requests, pre-check requirements, travel add-ons, and special accommodations with efficiency and care.
• Contribute to Chase Travel's reputation as a leader in luxury travel by delivering exceptional service and going above and beyond for every customer.
• Achieve team metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Two or more years of experience in the travel industry to include intermediate to advanced knowledge/proficiency of the Global Distribution System (GDS).
• Proven ability to manage booking and post-booking processes, with a strong focus on quality and compliance.
• Excellent communication, consultative service, and active listening skills.
• Adaptability and a customer-first mindset, ready to respond to diverse needs and requests.
• Commitment to ongoing learning, including e-learning modules and instructor-led training.
Shift / Schedule information
• Schedules are based on the needs of the business and may vary; employees are not able to select their own shifts.
• Current operating hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm CST; Sat & Sun, 8am-4pm CST.
• Hybrid work model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
• Depending on location, employees may be required to be on-site for the full length of training.
• Training is required and may differ from your regular schedule.
