Here at The Glacier Club we are actively recruiting motivated culinary professionals to strengthen our back-of-house teams. We have immediate openings for AM and PM Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Experienced Lead Line Cooks looking for expanded leadership responsibilities. Our resort operates multiple restaurants and food outlets and depends on skilled, dependable cooks to deliver consistent quality and exceptional guest service. All cook positions are essential members of the culinary team and require a positive, adaptable attitude and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. Our 1,100-acre resort includes two 18-hole golf courses, a golf practice facility, two clubhouses, three full-service restaurants, a fitness center, three pools, two hot tubs, a tennis center with three courts, courtside grill, snack shop, and four comfort stations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Follow recipes precisely, cook items to required temperatures, and maintain production pace in a busy kitchen.
- Participate in product preparation ensuring portion control, plating, garnishing, and presentation meet established standards.
- (Lead Line Cook) Supervise assigned stations, assist with order processing and production flow, and ensure staff perform duties to standard.
- Assist with inventory management, monitor par levels, support food ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation to minimize spoilage and loss.
- Perform daily sampling and quality testing to maintain consistency with recipe standards.
- Prepare and assemble ingredients and menu items with attention to aesthetic presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety and sanitation practices at all times.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients, and work efficiently under pressure and during peak service periods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary associate degree or certificate preferred but not required.
- Safe Food Handler or ServSafe certification is beneficial.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role (line cook, prep cook, kitchen supervisor). Lead positions require demonstrated experience supervising, motivating, and evaluating team members, and proficiency in core culinary techniques.
- Service-oriented, energetic, positive, and friendly demeanor with strong teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of culinary principles, techniques, and food preparation processes required.
