Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team. We are NOT looking for Certified Medical Assistants (the other type of CMA). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support within a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
Duties
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper medication management for patients.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human physiology to assist in the assessment of patients' health conditions.
Skills
- Strong background in patient care and service, demonstrating compassion and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of physiology to effectively assist in patient assessments and care plans.
- Ability to administer medications safely and effectively under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
