Description
Join a Collaborative, Supportive Team Committed to Exceptional Care
At Pentland’s Prosthetics & Orthotics Clinic (www.pentlands.ca), we believe great care starts with a great team. Since 1954, we have built a strong, respectful, and inclusive culture across our three clinics in Vancouver, Surrey, and Prince George, where clinicians, technicians, and support staff work closely together and take pride in supporting one another. As we expand our Prince George office to meet growing client demand, we’re excited to welcome a Certified Prosthetist (CP) who values teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence.
You’ll work alongside an experienced, energetic Certified Prosthetist who brings both strong clinical expertise and a collaborative, hands-on approach to patient care. You’ll also be supported by a highly capable prosthetic technician who is a graduate of the Orthotic / Prosthetic Technician Program at George Brown College, as well as a knowledgeable administrative team member with over 15 years of experience in prosthetics and orthotics. Our administrative support is especially strong in funding navigation, with deep expertise across public and private funding programs. In addition, our Vancouver and Surrey teams provide regular support, ensuring you are backed by a strong, collaborative network of clinical expertise.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver comprehensive prosthetic care to a diverse client base, helping individuals regain mobility, confidence, and independence.
- Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in care.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive clinic culture where clients and staff feel valued and respected.
What We Offer
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm) with a paid lunch break
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and clinical expertise
- Relocation bonus available
- Group Benefits Package
- RRSP matching up to 4%
- Paid vacation and monthly team-building events
- Annual performance-based bonus, dependent on individual contribution and overall office financial performance.
- Flexible start date to suit your transition
- OPC Registration paid by Pentland's
- Annual opportunities for professional development, with Pentland’s sponsoring relevant conferences, meetings, or industry events based on individual role and clinic needs.
At Pentland’s, we believe in care that goes beyond the clinical. We foster a work environment where innovation, kindness, and teamwork thrive, because we know that when our team feels supported, our clients benefit most.
Why Prince George?
Prince George offers the best of both worlds: the pace and affordability of a smaller city, with the amenities and conveniences you actually need day to day. While it may not have the traffic or cost of a major metropolitan centre, it more than makes up for it with space, nature, and balance.
Surrounded by BC’s stunning Northern Interior, Prince George is a dream for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, from mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and fishing in the warmer months to skiing, snowshoeing, and winter sports just minutes from home. At the same time, the city is fully equipped with everyday conveniences, including Costco, Walmart, major grocery stores, restaurants, gyms, and a growing local food and coffee scene.
Prince George also offers a strong sense of community, shorter commutes, affordable housing, and the ability to truly unplug after work. If you value access to nature, a comfortable lifestyle, and a city that has everything you need without the big-city pressure, Prince George is an excellent place to build both a career and a life.
