Description
Drive design and implementation of software application enhancements/changes aligned with strategic direction. Gather and validate business requirements for software applications and process changes. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Work with business owners to translate policy, controls, and process enhancements into software technology solutions. Support development and enhancement of user acceptance testing for Global Quality & Risk Management (GQ&RM) software applications. Develop software system validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for GQ&RM software applications. Determine system performance standards. Ensure requirements are adequately captured in use cases and design documentation. Establish application technology roadmaps. Oversee output for GQ&RM applications in coordination with application owners. Build relationships with key stakeholders and facilitate discussions with leadership regarding software project status. Identify software application weaknesses and propose continuous system improvements. Collaborate with Global IT, Global Procurement, International Office of General Council, Business Enablement Services, and external vendors to initiate and negotiate application support operating models, contract terms and conditions, and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate software system installation. Prioritize and monitor software release schedule. Partner with ITS/CTO Internal Functions on the implementation of software enhancements. Monitor risks and resolve issues related to software design and performance requirements.WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to 5%.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Developing software utilizing Agile methodology; Risk management and compliance; Monitoring software applications for alignment with business rules, processes, and systems; Handling relationships and communications with executive-level client stakeholders in engagements involving software application development; and Designing and implementing software application enhancements and changes aligned with strategic direction.
Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location, depending on business need.

SALARYRANGE :$ 189,592 - $ 248,000 per year
