Position Overview

Fox Den Country Club is seeking an energetic, service-oriented, and career-driven Assistant Golf Professional to join our Golf Operations team. This individual will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional golf experience while developing professionally within a forward-thinking private club environment.

Experience Required

• PGA Associate or PGA Member in good standing
• Prior experience at a private club preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail
• Comfortable with tournament software and POS systems
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Passion for service and long-term career growth in the PGA of America

Essential Responsibilities

Golf Operations

• Oversee daily golf shop operations
• Provide exceptional member and guest service
• Manage tee sheet operations and tournament setup
• Assist in merchandise planning, displays, and inventory control
• Maintain accurate POS and handicap records
• Support pace of play standards and on-course player assistance

Tournament & Event Management

• Assist in planning and executing a full calendar of member tournaments and outside events
• Create tournament materials, scoring, and communications
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution
• Deliver a championship-level experience for all competitions

Instruction & Player Development

• Provide private and group instruction
• Assist with junior golf programming and clinics
• Support player development initiatives and instructional programs
• Utilize modern teaching tools and technology where appropriate

Leadership & Culture

• Model professionalism, positivity, and accountability
• Foster a team-first environment within Golf Operations
• Contribute ideas to enhance the golf experience
• Support a culture of continuous improvement
