Overview

Franklin County Country Club is seeking a dynamic Assistant Golf Professional to
aid the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of Franklin County Country Club's golf operations. This
role is ideal for someone actively pursuing certification, with a passion for member engagement and
operational excellence.

Experience Required

• Previous experience in a golf-related role or relevant education in golf management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of golf equipment, rules, and etiquette.
• actively pursuing PGA Certification
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work weekends and holidays

Essential Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to golfers, guests, and members by assisting with tee times, answering inquiries, and handling registration/check-in processes.
• Facilitate Play: Ensure smooth and efficient play by overseeing tee times, pace of play, and on-course operations.
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): ensure consistent quality and efficiency across all golf operations.
• Event Organization: execute engaging member golf tournaments and leagues, ensuring a memorable experience for all participants.
• External Events Coordination: Support the coordination and execution outside golf events.
• Player Development: Assist with Junior Golf, PGA Junior League, Men's & Ladies' clinics and leagues
• Management : Supervise and train cart and shop staff
• Golf Instruction: Provide golf instruction tailored to all skill levels, enhancing players' enjoyment and performance.
• Collaboration : Coordinate with GM, Superintendent, and Clubhouse for successful events.
• Department Leadership: Manages all golf operations, tournaments, every day play in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.
