**Location:** Logan, Utah — Cache Valley Eye Associates
**Organization:** Cache Valley Eye Associates is the most established Ophthalmology practice in Cache Valley, dedicated to delivering comprehensive vision care since the 1950s. Our services include adult and pediatric eye exams; cataract and glaucoma surgery; eyelid surgery; optical shop offerings; and more. We are committed to patientcentered service and a collaborative physicianoptometrist team model. The practice currently has three Ophthalmologists and two Optometrists.
Position Summary
We are seeking an anterior segment Ophthalmologist (Cornea specialist or Comprehensive) to join our practice starting July 2027, possibly sooner. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical skills in cataract surgery and anterior segment disease. The candidate must have high standards for clinical care, patient education, and contributing to the reputation of our practice through quality outcomes and excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide diagnosis and medical management of the full scope of a comprehensive Ophthalmologist. Fellowship training or refractive surgical experience is a plus but not necessary.
- Perform cataract surgeries (routine and advanced) and other anterior segment surgical procedures.
- Manage patients in clinic—pre and postoperative care, followups, and on-call visits.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Participate in practice development, and possibly teaching or mentoring where applicable.

Practice Setting
- Centrally located within Cache Valley; surgery is performed at a physician-owned ASC and hospital.
- Onsite optical services and full diagnostics.
- Support staff, including surgical coordinator, frontoffice, and administrative personnel.
- Clinic hours are Monday – Friday; 1:5 practice and ER call.

Requirements
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ophthalmology residency.
- Fellowship or refractive training not necessary but a plus.
- Boardeligible or boardcertified in ophthalmology.
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice in Utah.
- Strong record of surgical skill, especially cataract surgery; comfort with advanced technology IOLs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; patientfocused and compassionate.
- Desire to contribute to practice growth and uphold the practice’s standards of excellence.
