Your role and responsibilities
-Develop / maintain relationships with AWS Leadership, Industry and field sellers
- Identify and progress opportunities in region working closely with IBM Market/Sector leaders.
- Drive Executive and Field Alignment - support Top 2 Top meetings, quarterly region and solution GTM meetings.
- Lead GTM Initiatives - Programs defining sales plays, approach, target setting and tracking
- provide and stay current on AWS solutions, offerings and partnership information to cascade to IBM Leadership, Industry and GTM teams and support training opportunities -
Confirm proper tagging for IBM Services in the AWS Partner system
Support joint-client/ prospect interaction and attendance at major AWS, SAP & IBM events - Provide sales guidance to IBM leaders, sector/industry leadership and global leadership when required. What's working and what's not working in region.
- Work with IBM /AWS Client teams to develop references, Win Wires, Go live announcements to be shared internally and with AWS for reference program.
- Support marketing through strategy guidance, event prioritization and collateral development direction.
- Identify issues and handle escalation management.
- Comply with IBM sales reporting requirements
- Tailor go to market offerings and materials to suit Americas strategic goals.
- Engage with AWS and IBM GTM teams for pipeline cadence/governance in your assigned region. Additional duties may be required.

1. Candidate must have a mix of Technical, intepersonal and strategic selling skills to ensure the candiadte can drive growth, build relationships and represent IBM Consulting effectively. Prospecting and Lead Generation
• Skill Description: Ability to identify, research, and target potential clients or leads who align with the company's offerings.
• Why It Matters: A BDE must build a robust pipeline of opportunities to sustain long-term growth.
• Proficiency in using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), or industry databases.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
